Paraffin wax, also commonly referred to as 'paraffin', is a colorless or white, tasteless, odorless, translucent waxy solid. Paraffin wax typically melts between about 46°C and 68°C. It is a combustible substance and insoluble in water but soluble in petroleum solvents, remaining stable under normal conditions of use. Paraffin has been recognized for its excellent electrical insulating properties. Additionally, it finds applications in the manufacturing of paraffin papers, candles, food packaging materials, varnishes, floor polishes, perfume extraction from flowers, lubricants, and cosmetics. Moreover, it is utilized in waterproofing wood and cork.

Product Application

Semi-refined paraffin wax is extensively utilized, primarily in candles, boards, plastics, rubber, and various commodities such as waxed paper, crayons, candles, and carbon paper, serving as components and packaging materials. It is also employed in baking containers with dressings, electrical components, insulation to resist rubber aging, and enhance flexibility, among other applications.
